Comments Monday, 1 Dec Long story short, I can capture the FedAuth token. I have also tried including more of the cookie like when it expires etc and with just the value. Nothing works where I can get connected. I am generating the token from another machine, that is the only thing that I can think of that might be causing the issue.

Recognizing that business processes often have specialized requirements, SharePoint lets you create custom workflow actions.

You can develop these custom actions by using Visual Studio, and then package and deploy them to SharePoint. At that point, the custom action becomes available to workflow authors in SharePoint Designer, exactly as if it were among the library of existing actions. This capability lets you customize the functionality in your workflow authoring environment to match any of your specialized business processes.

A sample is provided that illustrates creating a custom action. The sample, along with a readme file, is available here: Create a custom action http: A business analyst or other non-technical information worker is using SharePoint Designer to author a workflow to model an internal business process—for example, a document-approval process. However, in this company, the final step of the process is, upon final approval, to automatically dispatch the document to an external printer who prints and binds a specified number of copies of the document.

No workflow action that is included in SharePoint Designer supports dispatching a document to an external printer. Therefore, the company managers decide to invest in providing this custom action they call it the "Send Files to Printer" action for the company's information workers. Vendors expose printing web services. What the developer creates is a declarative workflow activity.

The developer also, then, creates the workflow action to provide the drag-and-drop UI for the action in SharePoint Designer. After the feature is deployed and activated, the information worker sees the new custom action, Send Files to Printer , in the SharePoint Designer UI along with all of the normally included actions and can use it just like all the others. An action is a wrapper that abstracts the functionality of its underlying activity in SharePoint Designer.

At run time, the underlying activity, not the action itself, is executed in the Windows Server AppFabric. In this sense, actions are just design-time abstractions of underlying functions in the SharePoint Designer workflow authoring environment in addition to being elements of the SharePoint Designer using interface.

Like all actions, custom actions are "web scoped"—that is, they are activated at the level of the SharePoint website, or SharePoint. With per-second billing, AWS customers are able to focus on their applications instead of maximizing usage to the hour. As a result, AWS Batch will now evaluate compute resources more frequently and immediately scale down any idle instances when there are no more runnable jobs in your job queues.

You can now configure your Amazon Kinesis Analytics applications to transform data before it is processed by your SQL code. This new feature allows you to use AWS Lambda to convert formats, enrich data, filter data, and more. There is a 1 minute minimum charge per instance in your Amazon EMR cluster, and per-second billing is applicable to clusters that are newly launched or already running.

Pricing is still listed on a per-hour basis, but bills are now calculated down to the second and show times in decimal form.

You can now configure your Amazon Kinesis Analytics applications to automatically discover the schema of an Amazon S3 object. This new feature allows you to infer the schema for your streaming application by specifying sample data stored in S3.

Kinesis Analytics infers column names, data types, and position of the data elements in the sample. With this new feature, you can predefine your schema prior to sending records to your Kinesis Firehose or Kinesis Streams.

This builds upon the current functionality which infers the schema based on a sample of records from your data stream. These capabilities help ensure your SQL Server deployments meet your performance, manageability, security, and availability requirements while benefitting from the scale and agility of the AWS Cloud.

These new features allow customers to better self-manage their VPNs, eliminating inside tunnel IP address conflicts, and enable support for additional devices. Starting today you can log, continuously monitor, and record account activity related to actions taken in the Amazon Chime console, using AWS CloudTrail.

Using the information collected by CloudTrail, you can track Amazon Chime console actions related to your team or enterprise account, as well as user account administration and license management.

CloudTrail allows you to record the action taken, as well as the source IP address, who took the action, and when it was taken. AWS CloudFormation now allows you to protect a stack from being accidently deleted. You can enable termination protection on a stack when you create it. If you attempt to delete a stack with termination protection enabled, the deletion fails and the stack, including its status, will remain unchanged.

To delete a stack you need to first disable termination protection. AWS is pleased to release a major update to the Splunk Enterprise Quick Start, focused on high availability and ease of use. Amazon QuickSight users can now create analyses from dashboards within their account. This allows users to quickly create customized views of dashboard content by modifying existing visuals or adding new visuals.

New users may utilize this capability to get started quickly by creating QuickSight analyses from dashboards shared with them. For data administrators, this capability reduces requests for customizations of dashboards and enables faster onboarding of users to QuickSight.

Amazon Cognito User Pools provide user directories that makes it easy to add sign-up and sign-in to your mobile or web application. Amazon Pinpoint provides analytics and targeted campaigns to drive user engagement in mobile apps using push notifications.

This feature will thus enable user based analytics within Amazon Pinpoint. You can drill into the data for different date ranges or attributes like device platform, device locale, app version etc. You can also set up user attributes specific to your app using the Pinpoint SDK.

These can then be used to segment your users on Pinpoint and send them targeted push notifications, emails, and SMS text messages. Starting today, Amazon Chime users can perform a set of quick actions directly from the lock screen and the app icon when using iOS devices, including the iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch.

From the lock screen, users can quickly respond to messages, mute notifications, join or decline meetings, or notify participants that they are running late, without the need to unlock their devices and open the Amazon Chime app.

By using 3D Touch with the Amazon Chime app icon, users can start a new conversation or an instant meeting. Quick actions allow users to respond to Amazon Chime activities with fewer interruptions. Application history is updated throughout runtime, and the history is available for up to seven days after the application is complete.

Additionally, application history is still viewable after you terminate your Amazon EMR cluster. For each Spark application, you can drill down into granular information and easily view logs in Amazon S3 for each Spark job, task, stage, and executor.

You can use this Qubole environment to process and analyze your own datasets, and extend it for your specific use cases. The Quick Start also deploys an optional environment with prepopulated data, notebooks, and queries to analyze structured and semi-structured data, in order to gain key business insights into product sales performance. Linux capabilities give fine grained access control to processes without granting them root access to a system.

In addition to this new city, a third Edge location is now live in Seattle, Washington. You can now use additional built-in slot types for phone numbers, speed and weight with your Amazon Lex chatbot. Previously, you had to manually add individual S3 buckets in your account to track S3 object-level operations, and repeat the process for each new S3 bucket.

Now, you can automatically log S3 Data Events for all of your new and existing S3 buckets with a few clicks. This ensures that all S3 object-level API activity in your account is recorded to help with your data exfiltration and S3 objects usage analysis.

Load balancing across AWS and on-premises resources using the same load balancer makes it easy for you to migrate-to-cloud, burst-to-cloud, or failover-to-cloud. After you have signed in with these alternative factors of authentication, you can access your AWS account to reset your lost MFA device.

Amazon RDS for Oracle now supports customer-initiated upgrade of snapshots for deprecated Oracle Database versions You can now use 6 new stream processing functions in your Amazon Kinesis Analytics applications to process streaming data in real-time. With Always-On fleets, users get instant-on access to their applications, but you are charged streaming fees for all instances in the fleet, even if no users are connected. With On-Demand fleets, users experience a small delay accessing their first application. However, you are only charged streaming fees for instances when users are connected, and a small, fixed hourly fee for instances in your fleet that are not being used. On-Demand fleets provide an additional way to help you reduce your streaming costs while retaining the capability to use features such as auto-scaling your fleet size based on user demand, monitoring, and easy updates to your applications.

AWS Mobile Hub has released a React Native starter project with a Deploy to Mobile Hub button that leverages recently released functionality to configure an entire backend for mobile applications with a single click. Amazon EC2 Spot now allows Amazon EBS-backed instances to be stopped in the event of interruption, instead of being terminated when capacity is no longer available at your preferred price.

Spot can then fulfill your request by restarting instances from a stopped state when capacity is available within your price and time requirements. When capacity is available again within your price and time requirements, Spot will restart your instance.

Upon restart, the EBS root device is restored from its prior state, previously attached data volumes are reattached, and the instance retains its instance ID. The AMI comes pre-installed with popular deep learning frameworks.

It has GPU drivers and libraries that let you train sophisticated AI models and scale them in the cloud. For more information read here. Today, we updated policy summaries to help you identify and correct errors in your IAM policies. When you set permissions using policies, for each action you specify, you must match that action to supported resources or conditions.

Now, you will see a warning if these policy elements actions, resources, and conditions defined in an IAM policy do not match. With this update, policy summaries make it easy to detect if a policy includes an action that does not support the resource or condition specified.

This Quick Start is no longer available. You can now pass information to your Amazon API Gateway custom authorizers via request parameters including headers, paths, query strings, stage variables, or context variables. Amazon Inspector is pleased to announce expanded support for security assessments on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7. To run security assessments, simply install the Amazon Inspector AWS Agent on the desired EC2 instance, configure your assessment in the Amazon Inspector console, and run your assessment.

Audit logs include events such as database logins, user information, details of queries executed, and impacted tables. For example, you can define metrics for DML Data Manipulation Language queries performed on critical tables, and set up alarms. These alarms can alert you whenever undesired changes are made to your tables. Additionally, you can create graphs and dashboards with CloudWatch to visualize activity in your database, detect patterns, and identify issues at a glance.

AWS CodeBuild now further enhances securing your build environment. CodeBuild can now store sensitive information as secrets, which can now get directly passed to your build jobs.

This can be achieved by modifying the parameter store directly in your buildspec. This makes it easy for administrators to review file and user activities for legal, regulatory, compliance, or internal inquiries.

You can now create a view that spans Amazon Redshift and Redshift Spectrum external tables. With late-binding views, table binding will take place at runtime, providing your users and applications with seamless access to query data.

Late-binding views allows you to drop and make changes to referenced tables without affecting the views.

With this feature, you can query frequently accessed data in your Amazon Redshift cluster and less-frequently accessed data in Amazon S3, using a single view.

Simply archive historical data to Amazon S3, create an external table referencing the relevant files, and then create a view referencing both the Amazon Redshift and the Redshift Spectrum external tables.

Using APEX, developers can build applications entirely within their web browser. A small cluster can be deployed in about 25 minutes. Amazon WorkMail now supports sending with aliases. Sending with aliases allows users to send email using an alternative email address. With this feature, users can easily assume different roles when communicating with external parties.

The new alias functionality is available in the Amazon WorkMail web application and other supported clients. To use this feature, visit Send as an Alias. Building your chatbot in the Amazon Lex console takes just a few steps, and now enhancements to the test console provide more details, for easy troubleshooting. The test console dynamically displays information related to dialog state as you interact with your bot.

This allows you to keep track of the conversation flow. The response detail gives you deeper visibility into the bot interaction and the current state of the dialog as you troubleshoot and debug your chatbot.

Amazon EC2 X1 instances were launched to extend the elasticity, simplicity, and cost savings of the AWS cloud to enterprise-grade applications with the largest dataset requirements for our customers.

Today, we are excited to announce the general availability of a new EC2 instance in the X1 family — x1e. This new instance enables customers to run larger in-memory databases, such as SAP HANA, and other memory-intensive and latency sensitive workloads compared to the previously available X1 instances. Customers in Houston can now establish a dedicated network connection from their premise to AWS. Customers in Canberra can now establish a dedicated network connection from their premise to AWS.

Amazon Pinpoint now supports two-way text messaging which enables Amazon Pinpoint customers to receive text messages from their users. When a user replies back to a text message, Amazon Pinpoint will pass that text message to the customer who can programmatically respond back to that text message.

You can now use Commvault V11 and the Storage Gateway VTL to backup and archive application data to scalable, cost-effective, and secure Amazon S3 and Amazon Glacier storage, while preserving established tape management processes.

Now, you can get notified whenever there is a pipeline, stage, or action status change in AWS CodePipeline. This makes it easy for you to track, manage, and react to any changes during a pipeline execution.

The updated SDK package includes a full changelog. AWS Glue is a fully managed extract, transform, and load ETL service that makes it easy for customers to prepare and load their data for analytics.

AWS Glue is serverless, so there is no infrastructure to set up or manage. Once cataloged, your data is immediately searchable, queryable, and available for ETL. With AWS Glue, data can be available for analytics in minutes. The new IAM console role-creation wizard helps you create the correct type of role with the right permissions with a better organized role creation workflow.

You can now use the new dynamic range compression DRC tag to enhance the volume of certain sounds in your audio file. The sounds in an audio file range from softer sounds to louder, depending on the text, the language, and the voice.

For example, conflicting ambient sounds such as those of a moving vehicle can often mask the softer sounds, making the audio track difficult to hear clearly.

This is especially suitable for audio to be used in noisy environments. DRC is a boolean parameter meaning that it's either on or off that can be used with any Amazon Polly supported voice or language. It can be used for an entire section of text, or only for a few words, based on your needs. This capability makes it easier to debug issues, conduct security audits, and run business analytics. With near real-time log delivery, customers can react quickly to events, and the power of CloudWatch Logs makes it easy to search, export, or archive your query logs.

Your analytics and search applications can now benefit from support for Elasticsearch 5. AWS Batch is a fully-managed service that enables developers, scientists, and engineers to easily and efficiently run hundreds of thousands of batch computing jobs on AWS. With AWS Batch, there is no need to install and manage batch computing software or server clusters that you use to run your jobs, allowing you to focus on analyzing results and solving problems.

Customers can now manage Raspberry Pi devices just like any other Linux server. You can setup CloudWatch Alarms to notify you of crossing thresholds. All metrics are provided with a 1 min frequency. We are pleased to announce the launch of a new Network Load Balancer for the Elastic Load Balancing service designed to handle millions of requests per second while maintaining ultra-low latencies. This new load balancer is optimized to handle volatile traffic patterns while using a single static IP address per Availability Zone.

It also preserves the client side source IP, allowing applications to see the IP address of the client that can then be used by applications for further processing.

With this release, MXNet hit major milestones, both in terms of community development and as an incubating Apache project. Contributors—including developers from Apple, Samsung and Microsoft—committed code to this release.

There are over contributors on the project so far. The project has now fully migrated its codebase to Apache and has made its first official release as an incubating project. Previously, only unencrypted databases were supported. Migration can be done either by restoring an RDS MySQL snapshot to Aurora, or by creating an Aurora Read Replica, which has the advantage of automating the copying and replication and minimizing downtime.

Since we made Amazon EC2 F1 instances generally available earlier this year, we have seen exciting adoption by customers, partners and the developer and research community.

Customers are using F1 for accelerating a diverse set of applications such as genomic processing, data analytics, security, image and video processing and machine learning. This expansion into a new AWS Region allows you to provision WorkSpaces closer to your users, providing a more responsive experience. Additionally, you can quickly add or remove WorkSpaces to meet changing demand, without the added cost and complexity of on-premises VDI infrastructure.

If you're using Route 53 traffic flow, you can now use geoproximity routing, which lets you route traffic based on the physical distance between your users and your resources. You can also route more or less traffic to each resource by specifying a positive or negative bias. Starting today, you can search for your data sets, analyses and dashboards in QuickSight using the unified search box, making it faster and easier for find and access your data.

Additionally, we are introducing Filter Groups. You can now create a filter group in QuickSight with multiple filter conditions that are evaluated together using the OR operation. Across filter groups, the AND operation is applied. This provides you with more flexibility to apply advanced filtering criteria to your data. Amazon S3 customers can now create data sets and analyses of their S3 Analytics data that spans across multiple S3 buckets and configs.

This allows you to analyze and optimize your S3 usage using a single comprehensive QuickSight dashboard. We are excited to announce that you can now add horizontal annotations to your graphs and dashboards in CloudWatch. You can specify the alarms and the thresholds you want AWS CloudFormation to monitor, and if any of the alarms are breached, CloudFormation rolls back the entire stack operation to the previous deployed state. You can also load balance to resources outside the VPC hosting the load balancer using their IP addresses as targets.

Customers in Boston can now establish a dedicated network connection from their premise to AWS. You can now provide synonyms for slot values in Amazon Lex. With the synonym functionality, you can specify multiple synonyms for a slot value in your chatbot. The synonyms specified are resolved to the corresponding slot values. You can optimize your business logic to implement code for just the slot value instead of entire set of synonyms. In addition, the chatbot automatically resolves minor variants of the slot value to the original value without the user having to explicitly specify the synonym.

Amazon EC2 now allows customers to add a short description to individual security group rules.
